I have die cut a large square from a hammered copper patterned paper. It has a stitched edge border. Over this I have laid a slightly smaller square, also with a stitched edge border. This is a white textured card. On top of these squares I have added the number 40, which I have die cut from black card. Lastly I added Happy Birthday in coordinating black lettering and black and silver dots to each corner of the white square. The card is blank inside for your own special greeting.
